I got the inspiration for this 30-something love story at the end of 2022. The world was finally getting back to normal after the pandemic. I wanted to include, in this colleagues to lovers story, a nod to life in the UK back then. Hence one of the key arcs in After the Hurt.

I've loved books and reading for as long as I can remember. Even as a small child, give me a book and time to myself and I was golden!

I was born in London and currently live just outside south London, where I love to potter in my garden.
